Liberty County held a catfish dinner and
fundraiser for Congressman Ted Poe on August
19th, at the Dayton Community Center. The
Republican candidates served dessert and drinks,
as well as extra catfish, to the attendees.

helping us make cattails, rice, willow, bamboo, grass
and buckets into fun centerpieces, and for putting
together the arrangement at the podium. Thank you
to Las Palmas Nursery on 1960 for loaning us the
plants. Thank you to Mike Vandeventer for putting
together the "gone fishin'" backdrop, toAnya
McInnis for loaning us the fishing gear, and to
Charles and Shirley Haidusek for putting all the
bows and bobbers on the mini-buckets.
